Molly was born in Pennsylvania and started working professionally as a teenager at Philly's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production was The Snow Queen. Then, she played Little Red Ridinghood for the Arden Theater s Into the Woods and was nominated to win a Barrymore Award. After making her Broadway debut aged 15, she reprised this character and received a Drama League Award. Molly also performed as a character in the Broadway version of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. She then attended Princeton University and was a part of Princeton's Triangle Club. She graduated with a bachelor's degree 2008. She graduated in 2008 with a B.A. While she was in university, Molly was the first actress to make her debut on stage as a character in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly began her career after having completed her Off-Broadway stage debuts, including End Days and The Wonderful Maladys on HBO Pilot. Molly participated involved in the 2008 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and in Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 staging of The Diary of Anne Frank which she performed as Anne. Molly is best known as the character Ali the teenage daughter, in Paranormal Activity 2, a film from 2010, in which Jack Burditt directed and wrote the ABC comedy Last Man Standing starring Tim Allen.
